Water
Keep the compost moist but do not let it sit in water. Reduce watering in later winter when the plant rests after flooring. Mist every 1-2 days.

Plant in a cactus compost (3:1:1 mix of soil-based compost, leafmould & grit).

Plant in a small pot. Repot in early spring.
Other Tips/ Info
After the winter bloom is done & flowers have fallen off, reduce watering & fertiliser (water only when the top 1" soil is dry or if plants shows signs of water distress (wrinkled leaves). Once it starts to grow again, keep the plant in a cool place with good amount of shade. Buds will soon appear, then the plant can be moved back into warmer room with normal care of watering and fertilser.
